Watford v Derby Palace Npower Championship Preview Feb 23, 2013
Head-to-head
Derby achieved their biggest league win of the season, and Watford suffered their heaviest defeat in the Rams' 5-1 victory at Pride Park in September, when there were six different scorers.
Now the Midland club are chasing a third win in four visits to Vicarage Road to complete the league double, last achieved in 2010.
Watford need to score once to take their total of league goals against Derby to 50.
Watford
Watford boast the best record in the Championship in 2013, with six wins, one draw, two defeats and 19 points from nine games.
Gianfranco Zola's side are chasing a third successive victory and clean sheet.
The Hornets are the top scorers in all four divisions (66 from 33), but have netted 10 fewer goals at home than on their travels (28 at Vicarage Road, 38 away).
Derby County
10th-placed Derby have drawn their last two, are without a win in four, and have only mustered one Championship maximum (over Huddersfield), since starting 2013 with three points against Middlesbrough.
Nigel Clough's side are far stronger at home than away, picking up 18 more points at Pride Park than on the road; only Leeds surpass that with a 19-point differential.
The current return of 44 points from 33 games is one point better than last season.
