Wolves vs Bristol City live Championship Preview 16 March 2013
• Wolves took their unbeaten sequence against Bristol City to nine with the 4-1 victory at Ashton Gate three months ago. First-half goals from Sylvan Ebanks-Blake and Bjorn Sigurdarson with a Kevin Doyle double sandwiched in between were more than enough to end a nine-match winless run for Stale Solbakken's struggling side.
• Bristol City have only taken three of a possible 27 points off Wolves since a 2-1 home win in December 1993, and have only beaten them once in 24 league visits to Molineux; 1-0 in March 1931 in the old Second Division.
• Wolves have scored 100 goals in competitive matches against the Robins, 50 of which were in league games at Molineux.
Wolverhampton Wanderers
• A vitally important six-pointer for Wolves, who are locked between Peterborough and Bristol City in the relegation zone, all on 39 points two points from safety.
• Wanderers are the only club with just one Championship win in 2013, and Dean Saunders is still looking for a first home victory as manager and an end to a seven-match winless league run at Molineux.
• The Black Country club is one of two not to have won a Championship match this season after the opening goal was conceded.
• If picked, Dave Edwards will be making his 150th appearance for Wolves.
Bristol City
• Bristol City returned to the foot of the Championship table on Tuesday as a result of Barnsley's win over Brighton, but they are unbeaten in four (W2, D2), and have not conceded in three.
• Sean O'Driscoll is still looking for a first away victory as manager, and an end to a seven-match winless sequence on the road.
• The Robins have conceded more league goals than any other club in England (65), and have scored just 16 away from home; only Ipswich have netted fewer on their Championship travels.
• If Sam Baldock is selected, he'll be making his 150th career league appearance.
