Scotland, who arrived last month on a short-term deal until the end of the season, has stepped off the substitutes' bench to score Barnsley's winner in each of his first three matches and manager David Flitcroft could be ready to reward him. Scott Wiseman is Flitcroft's only new injury concern after the defender picked up a knock in training that has left him doubtful. Barnsley have dropped only two points in their last five league games as they bid to beat the drop, but Flitcroft could be tempted to make one or two changes. Striker Chris O'Grady, on loan from Sheffield Wednesday, is pushing for his first start, while the likes of midfield pair Tomasz Cywka and Jacob Mellis, defender Bobby Hassell, plus youngsters Reuben Noble-Lazarus and Danny Rose could all come into contention. Midfielder Stephen Dawson (ankle ligaments) and defender Jim McNulty (hamstring) remain sidelined.
MANAGER QUOTES
Karl Robinson: “It’s the 25th anniversary of Wimbledon beating Liverpool I was told today and obviously we played AFC Wimbledon in the second round this year. But that also took me back to Hillsborough and the scenes of my worst FA Cup memory but now we’ve got a chance to get this club breaking a record and getting into the quarter final."
David Flitcroft: “I love the tournament – I think it’s a great trophy and I can’t wait for Saturday’s game. The players have bought into how we want to do things. We took the boys to watch MK Dons at Doncaster and we had a classroom session on that. I’m just trying to make sure every single player knows the mission that we’re on. Obviously the semi-finals being at Wembley is something that is a great plus."
