Lennon said: "His rehab has gone really well, we are delighted with that.
"Obviously with Beram Kayal and Victor Wanyama being suspended (for the cup final), if we can get him up to speed then it is a timely boost for us."
Right-back Adam Matthews and wide-man James Forrest are others hoping to underline their cup final claims but Lassad Nouioui (calf) again misses out.
St Johnstone will be without injured midfielders Mehdi Abeid and Chris Millar as they look to poop the party - and keep their Europa League dream alive.
Ahead of the penultimate round of fixtures, Saints are one point adrift of third-placed Inverness, who remain in pole postion for the final European berth.
After the match, the home side will be presented with the Scottish Premier League trophy.
Celtic manager Neil Lennon: "Brown will be in the squad with a view to playing at some stage.
"His rehab has gone really well, we are delighted with that. He has been training the last week to 10 days so he just needs football now.
"Obviously with Beram Kayal and Victor Wanyama being suspended [for the Scottish Cup final on 26 May], if we can get him up to speed then it is a timely boost for us."
St Johnstone manager Steve Lomas: "It's a massive game. They are collecting the trophy and there will be a partisan atmosphere but we have our own agenda to get a result that keeps the European race alive going into the final game.
"It's a great challenge for the boys to go there - can we ruin their party?
"We know it's going to be a tough match but we have been on a decent run of form.
"We are in there fighting and we are trying to take it to the last game of the season."
